Ichibana Vase Gift Idea
Love this at $9.95 plus shipping from Wayside Gardens! Ichibana is the Japanese word for flower arranging, and this 8 inch vase is said to be the size for classic Ichibana. It is underglazed in black and overglazed in red, which creates an interesting earthen look. Can't beat the price. They suggest pairing it with a bulb of Formosa Lily for a nice Thanksgiving gift. Maybe, maybe not. Rather, how about a book on Ichibana, although I think it is fine by itself. Another very reasonable but tasteful gift for a gardener you care for. I'll take two.
